Our Christmas Home Tour 2018

I have thoroughly enjoyed adding new little items to our home decor that will fit into Rooney’s room as she grows. We switched things up a bit from last year. Our Christmas tree has been moved to the living room and surprisingly the dogs haven’t managed to end up with any of the ornaments in the yard! It’s been so nice to cuddle up on the sofa and fall asleep to the warm glow of the Christmas lights each night.

Brunch Date at Bodega Ultima

I hate to admit that I’ve become that person who orders the same one or two things every time we go to a restaurant but when it’s consistently good, it’s sort of hard to switch things up! This time I had the Basque, a croissant with egg, tomato, avocado and chorizo and Alex ordered the Ultima (more or less the same breakfast sandwich but with bacon and an amazing aioli sauce).

The Hive

One of my favorite things about the Hive is that they frequently host tap takeover nights. Unlike a traditional bar, they have 70+ beers on taps with handcrafted cocktails, wine, and sodas too. During a tap takeover, a brewery will come in and have several taps dedicated to their selection.

What’s in our Diaper Bag

We’re just days away from meeting Baby Bee so I thought it would be nice to document the things I’ve picked out to bring in our diaper bag for the hospital. Our Women’s Center here is great about providing everything you could possibly need but I wanted to have a few cute things to spoil the baby with once he or she arrives! I spent a lot of time reading tips on Pinterest and watching videos on YouTube to prepare our bags for the hospital stay. I’ve tried to be as minimal as possible.
