May 2018 Spotify Playlist

I couldn’t let the month of May slip away without curating my monthly Spotify Playlist! You’ll definitely notice some more summery, surf-rock vibes in this month’s compilation. Fall Flowers

While we don't have cooler temperatures or the colors of the changing leaves to celebrate quite yet, that doesn't mean we can't get in the Fall spirit! Over the weekend we threw all of our dying vegetable and herb plants left over from the summer into the compost to do a bit of cleanup on the porch. We stopped by Lowe's and picked up these mums to give our back porch a bit of Fall color. I love the way the arrangements have transformed our small outdoor space.

Bedford Greenhouses

We started out walking around outside to look at all the plants and then wandered through the back of the lot by the half-emptied greenhouses. Kanuga

It's hard to describe how Kanuga makes me feel. It's a home away from home year after year. It's the only place I've ever been where I don't feel 100% tied down to my phone (i.e. no answering work emails after hours) and what's going on at home. It is also the only place where I don't have to worry about locking the doors. If you're looking for a realxing, all-inclusive spot to book a trip or conference, check it out! Despite Alex's misguided feelings on the "stale bread", I keep coming back for the toast.
