Hooked on Augusta

I think my friend Sarah hit the nail on the head in her Instagram post the other day when she reflected on her time here in Augusta. This place is what you make of it. Just when you start to think things might be getting a little boring, public art like the Hooked on Augusta installation pops up downtown outside of some of our favorite eateries. A group of incredible artisans came together to knit fantastically ornate and colorful creations that have recently popped up all over the trees on Broad Street. After grabbing brunch at New Moon we had the opportunity to explore some of the pieces. Here are just a few of my favorites. Whether you want to call it yarn bombing, yarn graffiti, or an enchanted forest, it has definitely put a focus back on downtown and created a new impetus for visiting.
