Women's March

I wanted to share just a small handful of the incredible photos and artwork that showed up on my Instagram feed over the weekend. Be sure to click through to check out the feeds!

Regardless of your political views, something really powerful happened this weekend. The Women's March on Saturday, January 21st was quite possibly, the largest demonstration in U.S. History. That's something to be proud of, ladies. What's even more incredible to me is that the women (and men... and children) who came out were as varied as their reasons for attending. Some people marched for human rights and some marched for reproductive rights. Others marched for the environment or for their religion and culture. If anything, I think this march was just another reminder of how strong we are when we are unified. Here's to you, fellow women! Let's keep celebrating our differences, standing up for what we believe in, and transforming the next four years.

While I didn't participate in a march (locally we had numerous severe storm and tornado watches), I wrote my first of what I'm sure will be many letters to my state representative. Urgent advocacy is needed to protect the Historic Tax Credit. Eliminating HTC directly affects my line of work.
