Weekend Link Roundup - November 11, 2016
It's Veterans Day but if you're like me and many Americans, you've been stuck in an office all day because we don't observe most of the important national and bank holidays around here. Regardless, thank you to those who have served, including many of my dear family members. Protecting our country's national security is certainly a job I do not envy and I'm grateful for the freedom to be at work today!
Did you know that Airedales served in WWI? I'm amazed that soldiers were able to train them so well. Ours is already too stubborn.
Lest we forget.
Weekend Link Roundup
Here's a list of things I've been reading, listening to, or thinking about this week:
Kodak is all aboard the retro wagon, bringing back their old logo!
Creamy mac n cheese IS better than baked macaroni and cheese. (Why do people bake things with egg? Other than cake. Cake is delicious.)
"I thought I lived in America -- I actually live in Cambridge" an article by one of my closest friends in middle and high school.
Ways to cut back our budget but still afford travel with microadventures.
Easy DIY natural gift toppers.
