Sunday was a warm, sunny day so we decided to take a walk to the Battery. On our way there we noticed that the doors to the Unitarian Church were open so we stopped in so I could show Alex the ceiling. I had been before during a Vernacular Architecture class I took my Sophomore year in college so I wanted Alex to see the fan-vaults. We spent some time wandering around in the cemetery adoring the spring snowflakes that covered almost every square inch of the lawn. Wandering off the path during Second Sunday is highly recommended.
