To be honest, I had never really heard of the Swan House before I started doing a little research for our weekend trip. I had a seminar at the Margaret Mitchell House and I found that they were owned by the Atlanta History Center as well. Confession number two: I have never seen or read Gone with the Wind. We considered doing the Capital Tour to learn more about the Hunger Games filming at the house museum but it didn’t fit into our schedule for the day. This estate was so beautiful. It’s hard to imagine that it was just built in the 1930s!
