Spring at The Swank Company

This past Sunday I had the pleasure of meeting up with several fellow Augusta bloggers for a collaboration with one of my favorite local boutiques here in Augusta, The Swank Company! I’ve actually been shopping at Swank since I was in middle school, before the current owners bought the store and exploded the brand. It has always been one of my favorite places to shop for unique gifts but lately it’s on the top of my radar for trendy and affordable staples. My style is pretty classic. I tend to forego patterns for color and interesting architectural detailing because I feel like elevated basics stand the test of time better. Swank has been the best of both worlds for me, especially as a new mom! I’ve always had a hard time defining my office style as a young millennial woman but now I have the added challenge of dressing my postpartum body and a changing shape. Swank has fun pieces that make me feel really confident in the office and at home on the weekends.

During our after hours event, the girls at Swank pulled out some of their new Spring arrivals for us to try on. I ended up purchasing two new work-friendly shirts, a pair of sneakers, and a few pairs of earrings! They also sent us home with a goody bag full of Swank swag including one of the Musee “Thank You” bath bombs, one of my all-time favorite self-care gifts to give and receive from Swank!

I’m always blown away by how helpful the team at Swank is when I visit. They’ll get a fitting room started for you when you start to pull things off the rack, are always available to pull your shoe size from the stock room, and offer styling advice if you need help putting together an outfit or finding the perfect pair of earrings to really top off a look. The best part is you can shop with them even if you’re not local! They have an online store front or you can send them a DM through Instagram to work out shipping for any product you see featured on their feed.

I mentioned before that Swank is one of my favorite places to find unique gifts. It’s almost Masters season in Augusta and I know a lot of you are getting ready to prep your houses for rental. This is the perfect time to go stock up on Augusta-themed merchandise to decorate your home. Why not take it one step further and create a little welcome basket for your guests to use during the week and take home? I found lots of cute Augusta items at Swank like hats, candles, tea towels, books, and prints! I think a little wire basket with a hand towel, cup, candle, and hand soap would be the perfect gift! I’ve tried to give you a peek at some of the items they have in-store you could mix and match to your own home style and decor.

I think the white shirt with the snakeskin paper bag shorts would be so cute on the greens of the Augusta National! It would be easy to style with a comfortable pair of sneakers and whatever cap you pick out from the Pro Shops! Pictured above are the green and blue shirts I went home with. If you follow me on Instagram, I’ve added all my spring finds from The Swank Company to an Instagram story highlight so he sure to check that out!
