Sometimes life makes you stop and slow down. Like when breakfast quickly turns into brunch because you get stuck in line by a group of out-of-towners who can't decide what they want to order. But hey, I can't blame them for not wanting to miss out on one of my favorite bagel spots. A lady at work clipped a few stems of this Philodendron for me. I've been trying to get the ends to take root in water forever. I finally brought it home and we found a new home for it on the mantle. I hope it likes having some space to grow down. We're new to this whole house plant thing so I feel like we need to set up a watering and light rotation schedule! I know what I'll be looking up on Pinterest this weekend. Luckily, this @Harrys Truman Set came in the mail at lunch the day I left and I remembered to toss it in my weekender. I can't make this stuff up, you guys!
