It’s been over a year since my last trip to Asheville. We originally planned to go to an apple orchard but decided against it since the weather was still threatening rain. After grabbing a bit of lunch we decided to just walk around downtown for a bit. Since our trip was so short we mostly looked around outside but we did make time to stop in the Grove Arcade and the Mast General Store. Downtown Asheville was so busy yesterday! We decided next time we’d explore a different part of the city instead of sticking to what we know best. We did happen to stumble on these tiny fairy gardens that are kept up by some older ladies. They were so strange to me. One of them had horse figurines and a Diego (from the TV show Dora) toy. My favorite find in these “gardens” was a This Place Matters sticker! I tell you, the preservation work never escapes me!
