If you live in Charleston you should stop by the Mace Brown Natural History Museum in the College of Charleston’s new science building. It’s free! They suggest a donation but there is no obligation.

The collection has so many interesting fossils from right here in South Carolina. Some are even from Charleston!

I think the collection gives a great brief overview into the evolution of marine species. Since the last time I went a few years ago they have added a collection of transitional whales, whales, and dolphins to the annex room.

I highly recommend stopping by if you (or your kids) want a day to learn about science!
