We went out for a late night ice cream treat with some of the RHD group. Jeni’s was splendid, just like the name claimed. The King Street location is still relatively new so there was a crowd. We stood outside in line while an ice cream maid brought around free samples. I ended up with the Riesling Poached Pear Sorbet on top. It tasted like frozen applesauce. It brought me back to school lunches, and memories of something I haven’t tasted in a long time. My bottom scoop was the Ndali Estate Vanilla Bean. It was just a typical vanilla. Next time I will have something more adventurous. The flavors were natural. I would imagine someone creating them from their backyard garden. I can’t wait to go again!
