The First Days of Spring

My early evenings with the dogs and Rooney are usually spent trying to get Aengus not to gang up on Keltie so much. He’s so rough with her when they play outside but she’s fast. We have to coax them into eating dinner and usually that ends with Aengus being reprimanded for trying to eat more than his fair share of food.

Our Christmas Home Tour 2018

I have thoroughly enjoyed adding new little items to our home decor that will fit into Rooney’s room as she grows. We switched things up a bit from last year. Our Christmas tree has been moved to the living room and surprisingly the dogs haven’t managed to end up with any of the ornaments in the yard! It’s been so nice to cuddle up on the sofa and fall asleep to the warm glow of the Christmas lights each night.

Baby Bee

It’s the beginning of my third trimester and I still haven’t taken the time to write about my pregnancy. It’s been such a huge part of my life over the past 6+ months but I haven’t properly documented it. There are no weekly bump photos with cute chalkboard signs about what size fruit the baby is this week, no symptom trackers, and no record of any cravings or mood swings. Here are a few thoughts on pregnancy and this season of change in our lives.

Monday at The Masters

There's probably no other sporting event that creates the amount of side hustle we see in Augusta during Masters Week. People will rent their houses and take a week of vacation off of work to cash in on a part time job cleaning houses, chauffeuring patrons, setting up chairs, catering, and a million other hospitality-related tasks that you might be able to imagine. Despite the traffic, the hope of attending the tournament and the excitement surrounding the influx of tourists brings everyone in Augusta together for one incredible week each year.

Scenes from My Evening Strolls

I’m supposed to be walking for 30 minutes at least 5 times a week and to be honest, I haven’t been the perfect patient. Up until recently, the weather hasn’t been cooperating and I prefer to walk outside. With the Spring preview we’ve been having lately, I’ve pulled myself together a bit and have really been taking advantage of the 75° evenings.
