My 15 Minute Makeup Routine
Before we get started, while I received some of the products in this blog complimentary of Influenster for testing purposes in exchange for a review, all thoughts are mine and I only write about brands that I truly love! This post does not contain affiliate links.
To some people, this may look like a ton of products and to others, it may look pretty basic. Nevertheless, this is my go-to morning makeup that gets me up and out of my vanity chair in 15 minutes or less!
I was thrilled to receive Maybelline’s Fit Me Dewy + Smooth foundation and Face Studio Master Prime in Hydrate + Smooth courtesy of Influenster. As you may be able to see in the background of these photos, Maybelline’s Fit Me foundation is my everyday favorite. I’ve been using the Matte + Poreless formula so I was eager to try out the Dewy + Smooth formula since my winter skin has been a bit dry. I find shade 115 to be the perfect match for my fair skin. I have blue undertones and reddish cheeks but the formula perfects and evens my skin tone without feeling too thick or melting off during the day. I use a sponge to apply my primer (focusing mainly on my cheeks) and then my foundation. With a damp sponge, I can cover my entire face with just a dab of foundation on my forehead, cheeks, and chin.
After blending my foundation, I’ll dab my lips with Smith’s Minted Rose Lip Balm then I use an angled eyebrow brush to apply e.l.f.’s brow gel. Once I’ve filled and shaped my brows, I apply my eyeshadow. Lately, I’ve been using just a sweep of the Tarte PRO to go Amazonian Clay palette on each lid. On my cheeks, I will start with using an angled blush brush to apply Too Faced’s Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer. I slightly contour my face around my forehead, nose, and cheekbones. Afterward, I’ll choose whatever shade of blush compliments my outfit for the day from Tarte’s blush palette (it was a limited holiday edition, so no link). I love that there is a huge range of colors in the palette from matte mauve to an iridescent peach. For the finishing touches, I’ll set my brows with the NYX tinted brow mascara and apply a coat (or two) of L'Oreal's Voluminous Lash Paradise mascara. Voluminous Lash has quickly become my favorite. The formula is a bit thicker so one coat gives me tons of volume and length, even without curling my eyelashes. Sometimes I'll finish off my look with a coat of a Colourpop liquid lipstick in Bumble or Zuma if I'm feeling adventurous!
Hope you don't mind a little selfie for my finished everyday look!
